The New Miskito Bible!

The 180,000 Miskito people of the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua and Honduras have been waiting to have the entire Bible in their hands.  Waldemar Bushey and his team of translators have been working faithfully to make that dream a reality.  For many years this humble man and his team have worked through war, hurricane, economic and health trials as well as other roadblocks to provide the whole Bible to their people.

On October 12, 1999 the shipment of Miskito Bibles arrived in Nicaragua!  A public presentation of the Bible will be held on November 20 in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua. This project of the Nicaraguan Bible Society has been made possible by many people through their prayers, encouragement, and gifts.  Make a special note to pray with us on November 20 that the Miskito people will receive this treasure with the great joy it deserves and apply it to their lives.

Not only did the Miskito Bibles arrive but the shipment included the newly published Sumo translation as well!
