How to get involved

Pray

Pray for the Hani people diligently.  Pray on your own and mobilize your small group, Sunday School class or church to adopt the Hani for prayer.  Pray weekly on a specific day of the week or pray daily at a certain hour of the day.

Here are some special requests:

  • Pray for the gospel to be shared and accepted among each of the 20+ subgroups listed earlier.  Print out a list and pray for them by name

  • Pray that churches will be started in EVERY village of the Hani

  • Pray for God to raise up harvesters:  local Chinese Christians, local Christians from the Biyue & Kaduo and other minority groups, overseas Chinese Christians, non-Chinese

  • Pray for receptivity by the Hani when they hear the gospel

  • Pray that the demonic spiritual strongholds in Hani areas, villages, homes and individual lives will be torn down so that people will be free to follow Christ

  • Pray for effective working of long-term and short-term workers together.  Pray that they will be able to operate effectively and boldly despite government restrictions

Traditional missionaries are not allowed in China and restrictions are tight.  Many who want to share Christ in China must do so on a legal visa status such as work, teaching or student visas.  However, much work will be done by "short-term" people who can come into China for up to three months as a tourist.

You can play a pivotal role in seeing churches planted in every Hani village.  If you would like to know how, contact us by email or write us by mail.  We'll be happy to listen and share with you how God might be able to use you in His plans to reach the Hani.
