Our Work and Ministry

God has called us to join in His work to reach the spiritually lost in the cities of Ecuador by discipling and training national Christians to lead people to Jesus Christ, starting churches that train Christian leaders to go out and do the same.

                       

At the present, God has led us as a team to begin in the city of Riobamba. Riobamba has been known as one of the witchcraft centers of the country being cold, unreceptive and even closed to the preaching of the Message of Jesus Christ.

Over 100 years ago a customs agent vehemently declared, "as long as Mt. Chimborazo stands, we will not allow a single Bible into this place." Even though this attitude has changed, there remains remnants of this spirit as the people are much more concerned with their own philosophies than the truths of God Almighty. Missionaries and evangelicals have encountered extremely difficult obstacles and trials in recent history while taking the Gospel and ministering in the name of Jesus Christ.

We sense the calling of God to be in Riobamba at this time, believing that the Holy Spirit is saying, "now is the time for the harvest." He also says, "pray ye therefore for laborers for the harvest." Will you join us in praying for laborers in this work?

                       

The result we want from this work before moving to another city is to see 8,000 people coming to Jesus Christ, having started 400 churches and having trained 120 evangelists/church planters. This is an impossible task for man, but with God, nothing is impossible. The result will testify to God's working and God's Glory! For this reason it is urgently important that we have a team of pray-ers. We have declared that prayer will be out #1 strategy as we begin to minister in Riobamba.
