Bob Mulkey was born and raised in Oregon. He graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology, the University of Houston at Clear Lake City and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Peggy Mulkey was born in Texas and also lived in Missouri and Arkansas. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BAT in Elementary Education.

Bob & Peggy met in Huntsville, Texas and were married in 1973. Bob worked as a carpenter and Peggy as a teacher until they moved to Clearwater, Idaho to pastor the church there. While in seminary, they started the Baptist church in Loncoln, Montana.

Bob & Peggy were appointed by the International Mission Board in October of 1988. They have served in Cuenca, Ecuador until moving to Riobamba in October of 1998. They have worked in church planting and Peggy has worked in the ministry to the deaf.

Their son, Zachary Mulkey, was born in Houston, Texas in 1977. This fall he will begin his senior year at William Jewel College in Liberty, Mo. He is engaged to Ashley Cooley who is from Pineville, La.

Leslie, their daughter, was born in Ft. Worth, Tx in 1980 and this fall will be a Freshman at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo.
