Since the concerts in March we have been worshipping on Sunday's in our home. Pray that we will find inexpensive or free facilities where we can meet on Sundays. Pray for the many families we are visiting to distribute the free tapes from the Texas choir. Pray too for the regular Wednesday night home group studies which have been focused on the death and resurrection. Pray for the seven men who were baptised on Easter Sunday

Only two weeks after the concerts Antonio Abreu has decided that we cannot continue to use the University residence as originally planned. Pray that God will either change his heart or open up another place for us to meet. Pray for Raimundo Holgado who is looking into these and other possibilities for us.
Pray for Juliana from Peru who accepted Christ last Sunday. Pray for the five men in the prison who have accepted Christ recently and who desire to be baptized.
Pray for our team as we work on our plans for next year.

Only three weeks to go. We praise the Lord that we have received permission to use the San Isidoro University Residence meeting hall for our weekly public Baptist church services in Cáceres after the Texans leave. Both of the directors of the facility were in agreement that we could use this modern facility that can seat up to 250 people. Lift these men up to the Lord in thanksgiving and for Him to protect them: Antonio Abreu and José Luis Moreno.

In exactly four weeks from today 37 Texans will arrive in Madrid, Spain. By the time they leave a week later, it is our goal that we will have started the first weekly public Baptist worship services in Cáceres, our city. These final weeks ahead are the most crucial and also the most demanding and stressful. Your prayers turns that stress in songs of praise! Please pray specifically for the final arrangements.

Dear Friends,
We praise the Lord that tonight four men at the prison prayed to ask Jesus
to forgive them and be their Savior! It was really exciting to see these
men listen intently to Jesus' words "I am the Good Shepherd" and "I am the
door" and respond so eagerly to David's invitation. Please pray this week
for Manuel, Joaquín, Juan José and Jesús in their newfound faith. Pray
that the Lord would be very real to them as they read the Scriptures we
gave them.
Another recent answer to prayer is that one of our local banks in Cáceres
has agreed to sponsor the upcoming concerts in March of the praise group
from De Soto, Texas. They will print and pay for all the posters and
flyers for five cities, and distribute the free tickets throughout our
entire region of Extremadura. Praise the Lord! In this way they will help
us contact thousands of people and invite them to come and hear the good
news of Jesus Christ.
A special prayer request is that God would lead us to the right place to
use for our weekly worship services which will begin on March 19th. We
know He has just the right place for us!
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers,
Joy & David

PRAYER
Prayer was appointed to convey
The blessings God designs to give;
Long as they live should Christians pray,
For only while they pray they live.
And shall we in dead silence lie,
When Christ stands waiting for our prayer?
My soul, thou hast a Friend on high;
Arise and try thy interest there.
If pain afflict, or wrongs oppress;
If cares distract, or fears dismay;
If guilt deject, if sin distress;
The remedy 's before thee ? Pray!
Depend on Christ, thou canst not fail;
Make all thy wants and wishes known.
Fear not; His merits must prevail;
Ask what thou wilt; it shall be done!
Joseph Hart.
