Grace's seventeenth birthday on September 27, 2001. Her birthday celebration included her favorite homemade enchaladas and banana cake washed down with grape kool-aid. Her favorite new toy is a mobile telephone.
We celebrated Joy's birthday on September 13, 2001. First we had lunch at Joy's favorite Spanish resturant. The seafood soup was excellent and the steak and lobster were outstanding. In the evening Joy spoke with Hope in the States and her family in England. Grace surprized her mother with a beautiful birthday cake. Among her many presents, Joy received a scarf from her sister Ruth, a necklace from Joshua, a picture from Faith and a bracelet from David.
The visit of Grandma Aurea Borgan, Grandad Ken Edwards and Great Uncle Charles Workman. Highlights include Uncle Charles 80th birthday (with 80 candles!) Everyone also went visiting Spanish families to distribute free videos of the life of Jesus. We gave out 300 videos in four days with the help of volunteer music group "First Voice" from FBC San Marcos Texas,
Twelve galleries filled with action photos are Joy's record in chronological order of the mayor events of the Southwest Baptist team from De Soto, Texas lead by Gordon Moore to Extremadura. Their team was officially received by the mayor's of five cities and their choir was provided the best theater in each respective city.
Sarah was our children's home school teacher from 1999 to 2000. She posted a newsletter and took many photos which can be viewed in four galleries.
