General: Pray for the group today as they travel to Trujillo and Cáceres
and take part in English classes and basketball at the university. Tonight
they will enjoy a welcome party in Cáceres. Pray for them to make new
Spanish friends and adjust to time and cultural differences.

Antonio Gómez (Baptist pastor from Córdoba, will preach at prison today)
Hipólito Hernández Díaz (new director at the prison in Cáceres)
Rafael, Luis, Alejandro, David, Agustín, Jesús, Manuel, Joaquín,
Juan José -all new Christians at the prison who come to David & Joy's
weekly class there
General : Pray for the group today as they are officially welcomed by the
mayor of Cáceres, and give two concerts: one at the prison and one at the
university (both halls holds 250 each ). Pray for Antonio as he preaches
and for many to respond. Pray for wisdom for the counselors. Pray for the
basketball team and English class. Pray for strength, energy and enthusiasm
for all as this will be a long day.

General: Pray for the group today as they travel to Barcarrota and Jerez
de los Caballeros, towns in the south of Badajoz province that have never
had an evangelical witness. Pray for the evening concert in Jerez (theatre
holds 600) and reception following where the mayors of both these towns,
which have traditionally been rivals (both claiming to be the birthplace of
Hernando de Soto) will together welcome the Texas group. Pray for openness
to the message of Christ.

All the new friends who will be at church and at the farewell banquet
General: Pray for this very special church service today - the first of the
new Baptist church in Cáceres. Pray that many new friends we have met
through the week would come. Pray that the local people would not be
suspicious of who we are and what we believe, but will come and find out.
Pray for the farewell banquet that it would be a time of cementing new
friendships and giving thanks for all God has done this week.

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything
you ask for, it will be done for you by my father in heaven." (Matthew
18:19)
General: Pray for safe travel home. Pray for those who have made a
commitment this week to follow Christ, that they would be faithful. Thank
the Lord for his goodness to us!
