This Toro Ring
(Bullring) is the site of the annual festival in San
Cristóbal, Venezuela held every January. During this
festival, more than 40 toros (bulls) are killed in about
two weeks. Occasionally, a matador is injured as well.
As you can see, bullfighting is very popular in
Venezuela.
