New Fulani

Older Fulanis usually dress modestly, but the young men are a different story. The older Fulani man in the front has his long robe, water gourd, and knife. His clothes will be pastel colors or white with embroidery. His head will be shaved. A goatee shows that he is a respected man. The teenage boy in the background has a typical colorful robe, braided hair, ochre face makeup, and a mirror. Both men have their cattle herding sticks and plastic shoes.
