And all who stand in awe of the Almighty |
If you have arrived at this site, In sh'Allah, it is our earnest prayer that you will view these pages with the understanding that the Creator of the universe, the One who fashioned man from dust, the One who knows everything, who sent His Prophets (S.A.W.A.), knows no limits. He can function far beyond our wildest dreams. This is the message we are bringing to the Fulani people of Nigeria. |

It is our wish
to help you and the Fulani People understand what composes a proper relationship with the Almighty. Before doing this, we wish to correct some misconceptions about what the Christian faith teaches. Below are listed several of the complaints that some people make against Christianity. After each is a simple rebuttal. This can form a beginning for a more in-depth study, if you are so-interested.|
Falsehood #1: Christians worship three gods, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and Mary, the Mother of Jesus. |
This is not true, nor is it promoted by any mainline Christian body. Just like Muslims, we state, "There is One God." We believe that God has revealed himself in three main disclosures, as the Almighty Creator, Father of All, in the Flesh as Jesus Christ (Isa Al'masih) and as a Personal Power, living in all Christians, the Holy Spirit. This may seem impossible to you, but may we ask, "Is anything impossible to Allah?" |
|
Falsehood #2 : Christians teach that Almighty God had sexual intercourse with Mary so she could conceive Jesus. |
This is not true, nor is it promoted by any mainline Christian body. This falsehood is abhorrent to all Christians. We believe that Jesus was identified as the "Son" of God similar to the way that Bedouins are called the 'sons of the desert' in Arabic. Many countries use this figure of speech, but it is used in a higher way by Christians to establish that Jesus had a nature higher than man while experiencing all that man can experience. Just like Muslims, Christians believe that Almighty God said "Be" and Mary was pregnant with Jesus. Jesus came into being without sin and lived a sinless life. |
|
Falsehood #3 : All Christians eat pork and drink alcohol. |
Some, not all, Christians do eat pork and others drink alcohol. This is also true of some Muslims. Christians are commanded in the Injil to avoid eating or drinking anything that will make their brother turn away from the truth about God. |
|
Falsehood #4 : Christians do not pray or give Zakat (tithes). |
Christians pray. We are commanded to "Pray Always." Jesus taught us not to do our prayers to win the approval of man. If necessary, we will pray alone so that we can focus on God and not be distracted, and our prayers will not be to get the approval of man. Likewise, Christians are commanded to make sure that widows, orphans, and the poor are taken care of. Isa al'Masih commanded that we "Do our good deeds in secret so our reward will come from God, not from man." Throughout history Christians have been at the forefront of helping the poor around the world. Many Christians give 10% of their earnings as offerings, more than the 1/40th commanded in al Qu'ran. |
|
Falsehood #5 : Christians hate Muslims. |
Isa al'Masih stated, "If any man hates his brother, the love of God is not in him..He who loves knows God.. he who does not love, does not love God. There have been atrocities and even wars between Muslims and Christians. We must also remember that Muslims have fought other Muslims in wars and committed atrocities against each other. These events were all bad, and we must seek reconciliation. The best route is to seek peace. The purpose of this site is to get Christians to pray that all Muslims will come to know the truth about God. |
|
Falsehood #6 : Christians worship another God than Allah |
Christians worship God who has many names. This God is described as the Creator of the Universe, the Maker of Adamu, the God of Ibrahim, Isiaku, Yakubu, and Dauda. He sent the Prophets and gave us His Holy Scriptures. He is loving, and kind, and righteous. He desires that all should repent. Christians in many countries call God, "Allah." He is also called "Yahweh," "Jehovah," and "Adonai." |
|
Falsehood #7 : Jesus (Isa al'Masih) was not crucified or did not die on the cross, neither was he resurrected from the grave. |
All men are sinners. Since Allah created all men, he was shamed by the sin of man. Isa al'Masih came to preach righteousness and to show Allah's way to forgiveness. The Holy Scriptures teach us that "without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Only God himself could recover his honor by paying the penalty for the sins of all men. So, He revealed Himself through Isa al'Masih. His blood was shed on the cross. The God's shame was removed through payment of the penalty of sin. All who believe in Him can now have eternal peace with God. Then, He rose from the grave to prove that He is the Victor over Satan and sin. |
We hope that these answers will help you begin to understand more about Christianity and the message we are bringing to the world.
